Summary

Zlurp is a native macOS app. It processes your files entirely on your Mac. It does not collect, transmit, or store any data about you or your files.

1. Who we are

Zlurp is a Mac App Store native macOS application developed by Carl Hagerling (Lehune AB, Sweden). Contact: carl@hagerling.se.

2. What data we collect

None. Zlurp does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, file content, file metadata, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers.

3. How files are processed

All file compression and conversion happens 100% locally on your Mac. Files never leave your device. There are no network requests made by Zlurp during compression. The only outbound network call Zlurp ever makes is when you tap the "Buy me a Coffee" button, which opens buymeacoffee.com/carlhagerling in your default browser.

4. Third-party services

None. Zlurp does not use any analytics SDK, advertising network, error reporting service, or third-party API.

5. Permissions Zlurp requests

Zlurp uses Apple's App Sandbox. The only entitlements granted are:

  • User-selected file read/write

So files you drag in or pick via the Open panel can be read and saved.

  • Downloads folder read/write

So saved output defaults to your Downloads folder without requiring an extra permission prompt.

  • App-scope file bookmarks

So saved custom audio URLs persist across launches without re-prompting.

6. Children's privacy

Zlurp does not knowingly collect any data from children or any users — see "What data we collect" above.
