Common questions about connecting Notion, upload destinations, and how Klipp works.
Create a Notion integration, connect it to a database you own, and paste the integration token into Klipp's settings. Any Notion plan works, including the free tier.
To your own Notion database, your own Imgur account, or a local folder on your Mac. You choose the destination in settings — Klipp only ever uploads where you tell it to.
Open the Klipp panel and drag any thumbnail into Claude Code, a browser, a doc, or Slack. Klipp pastes the hosted URL, not the image bytes — so you send a link, not megabytes.
Notion signed URLs expire after about an hour. Klipp automatically refreshes expired URLs when you open the panel, so what you see is always ready to drag.
No. Klipp has no servers of its own. Images go directly from your Mac to the destination you configured. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Email carl@hagerling.se with what you tried, what happened, and which upload destination you were using.
System requirements
macOS 13.0 or later. Universal binary — runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel. A Notion or Imgur account is only needed if you upload there; a local folder works with no account.
